CrossFit: Meryl Joseph
Meryl Joseph is a filmmaker and visual artist, whose work is known internationally. She has been a member of CrossFit Great Barrington for almost three years, and the training has changed has changed her life dramatically. “CrossFitGB is more than a gym, it’s a lifestyle. The community of people, helmed by Coach Mike Bissaillon and his wife Leslie, is generous, supportive, and dedicated to working hard for fitness and well-being. It seemed a wild dream that participation in the Games could become a reality, and I have been both awed and grateful for the opportunity”.
“Since October 2010, I’ve been striving to break my 250# PR on the deadlift. It wasn’t happening. I met Rick at the CrossFit Games in July, where I was competing in the Master Womens, 60+ division. He gave me a sample of Pro Strength and it tasted great. I brought home a bottle and started taking it after every workout and at night. I felt a difference within a few weeks…my endurance improved as did my speed. This October, I sumo’d 265# and one week later, got a new PR in the Deadlift, of 270. The only thing new in my CrossFit training program is Pro Strength. Thanks Rick!”
